Hints

Hints unlock one at a time: open Hint 1, and only then does Hint 2 appear. Stop the moment the case clicks.

Hint 1 Tap to reveal

Look at the ship locked at the start, then read 'furthest from Cargo ship' as the far end of the five-harbor row.

Hint 2 Tap to reveal

Tie Kyle's Metal pier to the Fishing ship and the Noon harbor, then use the Patrol ship's 'no Morning neighbor' rule to place Patrol.

Hint 3 Tap to reveal

Use the different-gender Morning clue and the single two-female foreman harbor to settle the pair cards at the end.

Video walkthrough

Watch the full solve: the board, the clue cards, and every placement in order — each step below is anchored to the moment it happens in the run.

  1. 1 A Is the Cargo Ship 0:00 – 0:06

At the start, Harbor A's Ship cell is pre-set with the Cargo ship icon, so confirm that A is the Cargo ship.

Confirm that Harbor A's Ship cell is pre-filled with the Cargo ship card.

  2. 2 E: Yacht, Night, Grain 0:06 – 0:12

The Yacht docks at either D or E; the Night harbor is furthest from the Cargo ship, and E is the rightmost harbor, so E is Yacht, Night, and Grain.

Drag Yacht to Harbor E's Ship cell, Night to Harbor E's Active Time cell, and Grain to Harbor E's Cargo cell.

  3. 3 B: Kyle, Metal, Fishing, Noon 0:12 – 0:18

Kyle stands on a Metal pier with the Fishing ship, and a Noon harbor has Oil among its cargoes, so B gets Fishing, Metal, Kyle, and Noon.

Drag Fishing to Harbor B's Ship cell, Metal to Harbor B's Pier Material cell, Kyle to Harbor B's Foreman cell, and Noon to Harbor B's Active Time cell.

  4. 4 B Carries Oil/Coal; D Is Patrol 0:18 – 0:24

B is the Noon harbor, and a Noon harbor has Oil, so B's cargo is Oil/Coal. The Patrol ship does not have a Morning harbor neighbor, so D is Patrol.

Drag Oil/Coal to Harbor B's Cargo cell and Patrol to Harbor D's Ship cell.

  5. 5 C Is Cruise; A and D Are Morning 0:24 – 0:30

The remaining ship type for C is Cruise. The two Morning-harbor foremen have different genders, and A and D are the Morning harbors.

Drag Cruise to Harbor C's Ship cell, and Morning to Harbor A's and Harbor D's Active Time cells.

  6. 6 A Wood, E Bamboo, A Meat/Fruit 0:30 – 0:36

The Wooden and Bamboo piers are not next to Brick; with A at the far left and E at the far right, A is Wood and E is Bamboo. Fruit cargo is not on a Bamboo pier, so A's cargo is Meat/Fruit.

Drag Wood to Harbor A's Pier Material cell, Bamboo to Harbor E's Pier Material cell, and Meat/Fruit to Harbor A's Cargo cell.

  7. 7 C Brick/Evening/Vegetable; D Stone 0:36 – 0:42

Wooden and Bamboo piers are not next to Brick, so C is Brick. Vegetable is the only cargo for the Evening harbor, so C is Evening and Vegetable. D's remaining pier material is Stone.

Drag Brick to Harbor C's Pier Material cell, Stone to Harbor D's Pier Material cell, Evening to Harbor C's Active Time cell, and Vegetable to Harbor C's Cargo cell.

  8. 8 D Carries Fish; Morning Foremen Are Amanda and Larry 0:42 – 0:48

The remaining cargo for D is Fish. Since the two Morning foremen have different genders, Amanda goes to A and Larry goes to D.

Drag Fish to Harbor D's Cargo cell, Larry to Harbor D's Foreman cell, and Amanda to Harbor A's Foreman cell.

  9. 9 E Helen/Sara; C Larry/Debra 0:48 – 1:00

Only one harbor has two female foremen, so E gets Helen/Sara; Helen's partner is not Amanda. C's remaining Foreman pair is Larry/Debra, and the puzzle is solved.

Drag Larry/Debra to Harbor C's Foreman cell and Helen/Sara to Harbor E's Foreman cell; all 25 cells are correct, Clues 17/17, and the level clears.

Trickiest clues

Choosing D for Night just because Yacht can be D

The Yacht can be at D or E, but the Night harbor is the furthest from the Cargo ship, not merely a non-A harbor. If you place Night on D first, you miss the row-order clue. Count the five harbors from A: E is the far end, so Night belongs with E.

Putting Brick down before Wood and Bamboo are placed

The rule is that Wooden and Bamboo piers cannot be next to Brick, so Brick cannot have Wood or Bamboo on either side. Set A as Wood and E as Bamboo first, then C is the only remaining viable middle pier for Brick. Early Brick at B or D makes the adjacency rule unworkable.

Final check

The hardest part is trusting the pre-set Cargo ship and reading distance/neighbor clues as linear order. Once B is locked as Kyle's Noon Fishing/Metal harbor, the remaining ships and times unfold from the Patrol and pier-adjacency rules. Put the foreman pair cards last, because the gender clues only resolve after the shifts are fixed.
