Hints

Hints unlock one at a time: open Hint 1, and only then does Hint 2 appear. Stop the moment the case clicks.

Hint 1 Tap to reveal

The opening clue names a captain and a sea. Let it pin down the first treasure before branching out.

Hint 2 Tap to reveal

Read every left/right clue as grid order, not map directions; the 'Coins ... left of the US' line fixes the order of two neighboring treasures.

Hint 3 Tap to reveal

When only two finders are left, the one tied to a river in India will also fill the final location.

Video walkthrough

Watch the full solve: the board, the clue cards, and every placement in order — each step below is anchored to the moment it happens in the run.

  1. 1 Lock in A's Ship, $, and Japan 0:00 – 0:04

Establish the first concrete anchor from the opening clue so later clues can use A as a reference.

Drag the Ship card to Treasure A's Container cell, the $ value card to Treasure A's Value cell, and the Japan flag card to Treasure A's Location cell.

  2. 2 Mark B as the Crown and A's Finder as Jack 0:04 – 0:08

Connect the king clue to B and the male captain clue to Jack.

Drag the Crown card to Treasure B's Type cell and the Jack portrait to Treasure A's Finder cell.

  3. 3 Set A's Pearl / Coins and B's $$ / Davy 0:08 – 0:12

Use the left-of clue and the $$ finder clue to complete A's type and B's value and finder.

Drag the Pearl / Coins dual card to Treasure A's Type cell, the $$ value card to Treasure B's Value cell, and the Davy portrait to Treasure B's Finder cell.

  4. 4 Put B in the Chest and split C / D values 0:12 – 0:16

Resolve B's container and use the value order to give C and D their money values.

Drag the Chest card to Treasure B's Container cell, the $$$ value card to Treasure C's Value cell, and the $$ value card to Treasure D's Value cell.

  5. 5 Make D the Whale with Gems and B the US 0:16 – 0:20

Use the animal-mouth clue and the US/France order to place D's type and container and B's location.

Drag the Gems card to Treasure D's Type cell, the Whale card to Treasure D's Container cell, and the US flag card to Treasure B's Location cell.

  6. 6 Set C as Statue / Trident in a Cave in France 0:20 – 0:24

Use Poseidon's weapon clue and the US/France ordering to finish C.

Drag the Statue / Trident dual card to Treasure C's Type cell, the Cave card to Treasure C's Container cell, and the France flag card to Treasure C's Location cell.

  7. 7 Assign Liz to C and Hector to D 0:24 – 0:28

Resolve the last two finders by matching Hector to the Ganga clue.

Drag the Liz portrait to Treasure C's Finder cell and the Hector portrait to Treasure D's Finder cell.

  8. 8 Place D in India and complete the grid 0:28 – 0:34

Use Ganga's location to place India and light up all 12 clues.

Drag the India flag card to Treasure D's Location cell. All 20 cells are now filled correctly and the level clears.

Trickiest clues

Don't put the US treasure in a Cave

The clue says the US treasure is not inside a Cave, and B is the US. That directly forces B's container to be Chest. If you ignore this, the remaining Cave can end up in the wrong container slot later.

'Left of' means grid columns, not a world map

When the clue says the Coins are on the left of the US, it is about positions in the puzzle grid, not about America being west of another country. Don't start arranging locations by real-world geography.

Final check

Treat 'left/right' as grid order, not geography. Once A is fixed as Ship/$/Japan, B follows from the Crown and US clues, and the Coin-vs-Gem value logic separates C and D. The final finder clue about Ganga River is the perfect anchor for India, so the last cell is confirmed without guessing.
