After the incantation row is full, use the element clue from left to right. The 2nd spell has Arcane, so the spell immediately to its right is Pyro.

Keep the columns in order: fill Hand Sign 2, then Hand Sign 3, then Hand Sign 1. The lock icon with 17 unlocks the Hand Sign 1 options.

The duplicate SignA
SignA appears twice: once as Spell C's Hand Sign 2 and once as Spell A's Hand Sign 3. Players often fill one and forget the other, leaving the grid unbalanced. Fill the Hand Sign rows one at a time and count the SignA cards.
The lock icon with 17
The number 17 looks like a numeric clue, but it is actually a trigger for the Hand Sign 1 options. If you try to solve it before finishing Hand Sign 2 and Hand Sign 3, you will waste time; let the row order guide you.

Level 246 is a clean example of using visible information to shrink the puzzle one row at a time. The duplicate SignA is the real trap, so verifying each row before moving on saves a lot of undo.
