Misreading “left of”
The clue “least experienced surfer is on the left of the Funboard” makes “left” sound like a vague direction, but the solved grid places Novice in the slot immediately left of Funboard. Don't guess by feel; use the empty Experience cells to lock down the only valid position.
Applying the flag clue to the wrong surfer
Two nationality clues look linked: the Bandana user comes from Russia, and Theo's flag resembles Sandy's if rotated. Remember the flag clue applies to Theo, so the French/Australian dual card goes to Surfer D; don't move it to Sandy just because Sandy appears in the clue.

Start with people and experience because the opening clues give the most concrete placements. Once a few cards are fixed, accessory and nationality clues narrow the grid quickly. The wording traps—like “left of” and the flag rotation—are easier if you treat them as literal logic clues. Leave the surfboards for last and the level completes itself.
