Hints

Hints unlock one at a time: open Hint 1, and only then does Hint 2 appear. Stop the moment the case clicks.

Hint 1 Tap to reveal

Start with the clue that links an insect eater to a whiskered face; that one link can anchor the whole species row.

Hint 2 Tap to reveal

After you lock that species in, the diet clue for it is right there; the 'drifting' meal clue then points to another fish's food.

Hint 3 Tap to reveal

For habitats, treat the coral-reef clue as the neighbor of the insect eater, then let the river clue resolve the final fish.

Trickiest clues

“Beside” means neighbor, not self

The clue says the fish beside the insect eater lives in the Coral Reef. It is easy to put the Catfish in Coral; instead, Catfish goes to Lake and Fish B takes Coral.

Don't mix the river clue with diet

The river clue for Fish C only explains its habitat, not what it eats. Keep habitat and diet evidence separate so Shrimp goes to Fish C's Diet cell.

Final check

Start with the strongest species clue and everything else attaches to it. Once the catfish anchor is placed, its diet and lake habitat follow from the neighbor logic. The main danger is letting the coral-reef clue overwrite the catfish's own habitat. Keep the clues separate and the grid completes itself.
