'A neighbor of the Cream room starts partying in the Evening' refers to D, not C. C is already fixed at Night by the Christmas tree clue, so don't overwrite it with Evening.

The puzzle rewards locking one strong clue before branching out. Start with C's night tree, then let each bottom line reveal a unique room. Once colors and people are down to leftovers, the grid basically solves itself. The final 30-cell full board is a satisfying confirmation.
