Fill A/B/C/D flower colors, set A's Type to Barrel, and complete all 20 cells.
Drag Yellow to Cactus A's Flower Color cell, Red to Cactus B's Flower Color cell, Pink to Cactus C's Flower Color cell, Blue to Cactus D's Flower Color cell, and Barrel to Cactus A's Type cell. When all cells are filled, the level-complete screen appears.

Half water and distance
The 50% card belongs to E because the half-water cactus is furthest from Barrel. Don't place 50% on C just because Hedgehog was already found; the water clue is about distance, not about which type you solved first.
'Not neighbors' actually means None
Skull and Tumbleweed are not Hedgehog's neighbors, so Cactus C's Nearby Object has to be None. Treat this as a placement rule: the two excluded objects must then be assigned to the remaining cacti. Don't ignore it as flavor text.

The solve starts by separating type clues from placement clues: Hedgehog comes from the 'animal' clue, while half water comes from a distance clue. Once E's Prickly Pear/Purple and D's Saguaro/Road Sign are locked in, the Bishop's Cap water comparison fills the middle rows.
